We Still Have a Chance Legacy Mural is a people and planet legacy mural commissioned for the city of Exeter by the University of Exeter Green Futures COP27 Team and Art Work Exeter in 2023. GARf, the winning artist after a public vote during the British Science Festival in Exeter in 2023, is a local artist who believes life on earth is a delicate balance and we need to look after our planet in all that we do. The mural was inspired by We Still Have a Chance:12 Climate Stories for 12 Days of COP27 Climate Change Conference, co-created by +200 climate scientists, health professionals, artists, educators, translators, youth leaders and storytellers between the UK and Egypt. The mural is the first large public art created for our city as part of the Public Art Strategy for Exeter and was funded by the Knowledge E Foundation. https://greenfutures.exeter.ac.uk/we-still-have-a-chance/
