The P10 Intensive: An Online Action-Learning Master Facilitation Journey
Six Days. Three Phases. One Transformative Skillset.
Most online courses give you information. This course gives you integration. Delivered over three 2-day modules, this interactive P10 intensive is designed for those who don't just want to study the principles of Future Search, but want to master them in the field. Delivered online it enables you to connect with people from around the world.
We all attend meetings as participants, facilitators, or meeting leaders. Meetings are where good things happen - or should! At Future Search we have spent more than 30 years working with the most intractable issues, in the most diverse settings, with outstanding results time after time. We have worked with organisations of all sizes, from small non-profits to the UN, IKEA, Wholefoods, The World Bank and more. We want to share what we have learned and help you manage your meetings, so that every meeting you run matters. We have Ten Principles that can be learned and applied to any meeting of any size for great results.
On our course you will learn advanced leadership skills for how to manage every meeting and manage yourself as meeting leader or facilitator. The P10 Approach: Ten Principles for Leading Meetings that Matter is used in strategic planning, team development, management retreats, community action planning, new policy development, innovation, design thinking workshops and lots more.
Sandra Janoff and Michael Donnelly are delivering this course. It is interactive. You will learn the principles and explore their application, using real-life examples from your own and other participants' experience.

The Learning Rhythm: Three Sets of Two Days
Phase 1: The Blueprint & The Deep Dive (9, 10 September 2026)
- Day 1: Immersion into the core principles of the "Whole System."
- Day 2: A deep-dive simulation. You’ll begin navigating the process from the inside out, experiencing how the methodology creates clarity from chaos.
Phase 2: Practice & Refinement (7, 8 October 2026)
- Day 3 (Sharing): Bring your "between-session" reflections and initial attempts to the cohort. We troubleshoot real-world applications together.
- Day 4 (Teaching): We go back into the lab. Advanced teaching on managing the "Four Rooms" and handling the "potholes" of large-group dynamics.
Phase 3: Mastery & Launch (13, 14 January 2027)
- Day 5 (Integration): A collective review of your field experiences. We deepen the learning through peer-coaching and expert feedback.
- Day 6 (The Practicum): The ultimate Q&A and application workshop. You’ll leave with a fully-formed plan to apply these principles to your specific project or client.
Why the "Staggered" Format Works:
- Real-World Testing: You have time between modules to test concepts in your actual work environment.
- Collective Intelligence: You aren't just learning from a trainer; you are learning from the lived experiences of a high-level cohort.
- Sustainable Mastery: Spacing the learning prevents "workshop fatigue" and ensures the P10 principles become a permanent part of your professional DNA.
