In this one-day, fast-paced course you’ll learn about the mindset, methods and process of Design Thinking (aka Human-Centred Design). Working in small teams with people from different organisations, you’ll get hands-on experience with practical tools that you can use straight away to improve your innovation and creative problem-solving.
1. Introduction. Learn about the Design Thinking mindset, toolkit and process and how it helps manage the risks of innovation.
2. Empathise and Identify Users’ Needs. Understand users’ needs from their perspective and identify and prioritise pain points.
3. Define and Ideate. Clearly articulate the problem to be solved, generate early solutions, and select the best ideas to take forward.
4. Prototype, Test, and Iterate. Create a quick prototype to communicate a concept, test with users, and get constructive feedback to improve the concept.
