Future Trainers Club

Welcome to Future Trainers Club! 🎴✨

Future Trainers Club is a free, inclusive gaming club for children, young people and their families.

Whether your young person is already Pokémon mad, wants to learn how to play, loves collecting and trading, or simply wants somewhere relaxed to spend time with people who share their interests, they are welcome here.

You don’t need any experience and you don’t need to bring anything with you. We have cards, games and equipment available to borrow and use during the session.

Our sessions can include:

🎴 Pokémon TCG and other trading card games
🎲 Games and activities
🃏 Learn-to-play and deck-building help
🎨 Creative activities
🤝 Trading and socialising
🏆 Prizes and giveaways when available
🍽️ Free food, snacks and refreshments

Future Trainers Club is designed to be welcoming and inclusive, particularly for neurodivergent children and young people, those with additional needs, young carers and families who may find traditional clubs or activities difficult to access.

There is no expectation for children to join in with everything. They are welcome to take things at their own pace.

🎟️ Booking

Every person attending needs a free ticket.

Please book one Child or Young Person ticket for each child attending and one Adult ticket for each parent, carer or responsible adult who will be staying.

This helps us manage numbers and make sure we have enough space, activities, food and refreshments for everyone.

Children and young people must attend with a responsible adult unless this has been agreed with us in advance.

🍽️ Food and dietary requirements

We try to provide free food, snacks and refreshments at our sessions.

If anyone in your group has a food allergy, intolerance or other dietary requirement, please contact us before the session so we can do our best to accommodate them safely.

💛 Keeping Future Trainers Club free

Future Trainers Club is free to attend. There is absolutely no expectation or requirement to make a donation.

We are a registered Community Interest Company and rely on fundraising, donations and community support to help us provide our sessions.

If you would like to contribute, you can add an optional donation when booking. Donations help towards venue costs, food and refreshments, cards, games, prizes and other resources for our families.

Please only donate if you would like to and are able to. Your booking and experience are exactly the same whether you donate or not.

Most importantly, come along, have fun and enjoy being part of Future Trainers Club. 💛
