Join us for an enchanting journey into the world of Central and Eastern European folk art at our Pysanky Egg Decorating Workshop! Discover the centuries-old tradition of crafting vibrantly hued and highly detailed works of art on a simple egg using the wax-resist dye technique.
Event Highlights:
- Date & Times: Saturday, March 23 or ̶S̶u̶n̶d̶a̶y̶,̶ ̶M̶a̶r̶c̶h̶ ̶2̶4̶ * Saturday, April 6 from 2-5 pm. Each occurrence is a complete workshop.
- Experience Level: All skill levels welcome! This craft may be more difficult for younger children, but it’s a great activity to bond with your teen or have fun with a group of friends. Best for ages 12 and older.
- Materials: All supplies provided including an egg stand or loop for hanging, and box for storing

- Learn the Art of Pysanky: Our experienced instructor will guide you through the step-by-step process of creating beautiful Pysanky eggs. From basic patterns to advanced designs, explore the rich symbolism and vibrant colors of this traditional craft.

This is an in-person workshop. Pre-registration is required. Students will be able to complete at least one egg during the 3-hour workshop and learn how to prepare eggs for dyeing.
*Due to the predicted severe winter weather, the Sunday March, 24 class has been postponed to Saturday, April 6. If you have registered for the Sunday workshop, please check your email for further instructions.
