Life Drawing Class

No experience in life drawing needed, I will be available to guide you as much or as little as you would like, taking you through the original teachings of life drawing. We will have a mixture of male and female models, partially clothed and nude. One class will be portraiture - 15th April, another will be using clay - 1st April. 
It will comprise of several short drawing studies eventually leading to one longer sitting.

A discount is given if you book all 7 in the block booking option.

NO materials are provided, but tea and coffee will be. 

Suggested equipment:

• Easel and a sturdy board to tape paper. Floor standing easel is highly recommended.
(I will provide tape if anyone requires it) 

• Paper or cardboard. I myself will be using a selection of recycled material from my home and coloured papers. 

• Pencil, pens, ink, crayon, charcoal,  chalk, clay, whatever you’d like to try. 

• Putty rubber, pencil sharpener, large soft brush.  


Please arrive 15mins before class to set up your work station. (Please let me know if you require help in doing so) 

• Tables, small table easels and chairs are available on request.

Please note that Gail Davis - The Art Studio will not be held responsible for any belongings/clothes damaged or physical accidents during class, you attend at your own charcoal covered risk.

Cancellation policy - This is a small Life drawing class with hired models and hall, so refunds wont be available if you fail to attend, but please feel free to send someone in your place.

Age limit - 16 and over

It promises to be a fabulous class, I look forward to getting creative with you!
