Embroidered Tote Bags (or bring your own item of clothing!)

Learn the basic stitches and embroider your own tote bag (provided) or bring your own piece of clothing to stitch and upcycle. Beginner-friendly, no experience needed.

Gak Art Club is a social experience built around hands-on making, and meeting people who love to create. Come solo or bring a friend.

What you'll get for your £33 ticket:

• 2 hours* of friendly, hands-on tuition
• All materials included
• Welcome drink included on arrival (Rum Punch, Prosecco, or Mocktail)
• Additional £5 tipples until 9pm
• 3 picky bits for £15

What to expect:

🧵 Stitch school: learn the basics (30 mins depending on experience)
✍️ Optional bubble lettering using hot glue as a raised base to stitch over
🎨 Open embroidery session: go clean & minimal or intricate & detailed (2 hrs)
🪡 In addition to your tote, you're welcome to take your hoop and needle away to continue stitching at home!

Attendees are invited to partake in The Exchange (optional): bring a small something specified before the event and swap it with a stranger. Spark conversation and share a little slice of yourself.

The Exchange (optional): a book swap. Bring a book you've enjoyed to pass on to someone new, and take another home in your new tote bag.
