!!Attention!! This particular event is only available to Queen City Anime Convention Attendees. You must have a valid 2026 badge or pass for the convention in order to participate in this maid cafe event! 

If you're interested in attending the Maid Cafe, but haven't gotten an convention badge yet, please look at QCAC's rates to join the convention fun below. QCAC admission and Maid Cafe admission are separate. Patrons of the Maid Cafe must have a valid 2025 QCAC admission to participate.

Event Details

For this pop up, we will be partnering with Queen City Anime Con on August 14th-16th! Come enjoy the activities and vendors offered at the convention, and make sure stop by the maid cafe booth to recharge with snacks, drinks, and enjoy the entertainment provided by Galaxy Dreams!

We will be offering an After Dark Cafe as well which includes lower lighting, anime lofi, adult humor games and anime trivia. After Dark sessions are 18+ as a result. Our regular Maid Cafe sessions will include semi-bright lighting, a kawaii music mix, and child friendly tabletop games and a dance performance.

Please note all maid cafe patrons must have a separate QCAC 2026 ticket to participate. You can learn more about the host event here. Queen City Anime Con will be at the Concord Convention Center in Concord, NC. you can find us on the hotel side of the convention center, going up to the 2nd floor to the Blueridge Room, right at the top of the grand staircase. If the grand staircase is busy - you can head up the emergency exit staircase tucked in the corner of the hotel lobby, or go up the elevator on the other side of the lobby.

We will also have a general booth open to sell merchandise and in-person ticket sales separate from the maid cafe experience from 4:00pm-11:30pm Friday, 11:30am-11:40pm Saturday, and 11:30am-3:40pm Sunday.

One ticket into the event includes: (1) a seating for your selected 60 minute session, (2) tea service, (3) one snack/sweets plate, (4) entertainment provided by Maid Cafe staff via tabletop games and performances, and (5) a picture with your Maid on your own device. We have Memento (Chekki) Polaroids available, as well as merch and other fun items you can take home at additional cost! More snacks and special drinks can be added on for additional cost.

Event Menu

Our menu changes with the season, and with what the venue allows us to serve. For this event, we will be serving:

* Some items may have edible food glitter - please tell your Maid if you cannot eat edible glitter to withhold it for you.

After you add your ticket, make sure to select your add-ons in the next page before checkout! :) You can add on those special treats, polaroids, or small merch items!

Able to serve our menu as supplies last. Some menu items may sell out quickly.

We will try to accommodate the most common dietary restrictions, but aren't always able to. Thus, snacks are optional for this event to add on. Most snack items are not sugar free or gluten free.

Our event is child-friendly! Please be mindful that while many of our events are child-friendly, they are not catered for children as most of our patrons are adults. Children two years old or older must have their own ticket and sit in their own seat. Children under two years old are free with their parent or guardian's ticket and may either sit in their parent's lap or sit in a stroller next to the parent's seat. We do not provide high chairs. If you have a child three or younger, we recommend you bring a toy or activity that can keep them occupied at the table. We do offer coloring sheets and a magnet play board for small children, but these aren't always suitable. Children 12 and under require an adult to supervise for entry.

Please note Maid Cafe After Dark sessions are 18+ only due to adult humor.

Due to limited seating, we reserve the right to seat you with other parties if the table is not full. Tables typically seat up to 4-8 guests each, but may vary depending on the event.

We encourage our guests to have fun dressing up at our events in either Japanese fashion dresses, semi-formal, or cosplay, although casualwear is okay! Just like most places, please be adequately and modestly covered of all private areas.

Please arrive 5 minutes early to check in for your session! We will start on time, and will not wait for those who are late. When checking in, simply let us know your party name and how many are in your party - we'll check you in!

Gratuity Policy

Our staff would appreciate tips! If you feel our staff has performed well and would like to tip them, you may cash tip or send their tip to our PayPal along with a note of whom the tip is for so they can receive it. We do not allow staff to share their personal information for their own safety and privacy. Thank you!

Refund Policy

Tickets are non-refundable within 3 days of an event. Add-on items are refundable.

Can’t make it to an event, or the time doesn’t work out?

If you let us know at least 3 or more days before the event, then you can get a full refund to the original method of payment. Cancellations within 3 days of the event are non refundable for tickets, but you may get add-on items refunded. We do count the event day with our 3 day policy.

Refunds may take between 1-7 days to deposit to your account depending on your bank's processing times and it's opening hours. Please be mindful it may take longer during holidays.

You may give your tickets to a friend, simply forward your ticket email receipt to the intended recipient.

Exceptions to this policy:

If your ticket is for is a multi-day and multi-session event such as a convention or festival, we may be able to transfer your ticket to another available day/time slot. Just let us know if that’s what you prefer. You can also transfer your tickets to a friend, just email your tickets / order email to your friend, and let us know!

If the event has been cancelled, we will give full refunds to everyone for that event minus the credit card processing fees, or if an event is rescheduled we will reach out via email to confirm if you would like to go to the new event date before issuing a refund.

✨What IS A Maid Cafe?✨

A Maid Cafe is a very cute anime-esque tea party or cafe type of experience where the staff are dressed up in a typically modest Maid-like outfit where their aim is to entertain their guests and make sure they have fun in a more relaxed setting. In it's true form, it is most popular in Japan as a cafe where the staff serve very cute dishes, perform dances and songs that are often very cute or silly, offer specific activities called services, and overall a fun place to hangout whether its after work to wind down or an outing with friends - it's also a very popular type of tourist attraction. In the convention setting, it is often downscaled in what can be offered, so every pop up or convention based maid cafe offers different aspects of the maid cafe experience to what they can. For this convention, we will be focusing on fun and cute themes that are incorporated in our dances, activities, and our characters that we play. We will be serving some yummy snacks and a variety of drinks!

✨When selecting a ticket, keep in mind the following:✨

• Pay attention to the day you’re selecting, and the timeslots! It’s important to come to the correct session, and book yourself during a time you plan to attend the convention!
• We highly recommend booking your session with a friend! The Maid Cafe is best experienced with friends to join you! Double check with your friends that you are booking the same sessions day & time slots!
• Due to limited seating, we reserve the right to seat another party at your table if is not full. Tables will seat 8 guests each.

✨Introducing: Maid Cafe After Dark✨

We will be offering an exclusive after dark Maid Cafe experience only during the last two sessions of the day on Friday and Saturday!

We will dim the lights, use glowsticks and battery lights, play fun chill music, and play different types of games than we will during the regular cafe. Our Maids may do special performances they usually wouldn't do during our day cafe, and we will play a special anime trivia game with the whole room in spirit of QCAC's Summer Vibes theme this year - the winner gets a crown and a free Chekki with their Maid!

(For this event, we recommend children only attend our regular day time maid cafe. The After Dark Cafe may be too rowdy with a mostly adult audience.)

We encourage our guests to have fun dressing up at our events in either Japanese fashion dresses, semi-formal, or cosplay, although casualwear is okay!

Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to check in for your session! We will start on time, and will not wait for those who are late. When checking in, please bring up your QR code in your confirmation email after ticket purchase to scan! You may either print it out beforehand, or present it on your smart phone.

Gratuity Policy

Our staff would appreciate tips! If you feel our staff has performed well and would like to tip them, you may cash tip or send their tip to our PayPal along with a note of whom the tip is for so they can receive it, otherwise just labelling as "tip" will get it split equally amongst the staff for that shift. We do not allow staff to share their personal information for their own safety and privacy. Thank you!

Refund Policy

Can’t make it to an event, or the time doesn’t work out?

If you let us know at least 72 hours (3 or more days) before the event, then you can get a full refund to the original method of payment. If you have to cancel between 72 hours to 24 hours (1-3 days), then you can receive a partial refund (50%). Cancellations within 24 hours of the event (day of or day before) are non refundable. This is because our catering and materials are typically already ordered within 3 days of an event, and to respect the time of our staff who expect to serve a certain amount of pre-registered guests.

Exceptions to this policy:

If you pre-ordered a merch item, you may be able to be refunded for your add-on merch and chekkis.

If your ticket is for is a multi-day and multi-session event such as a convention or festival, we may be able to transfer your ticket to another available day/time slot. Just let us know if that’s what you prefer.

Event Location:

We will be located in the Blueridge Room! This room is up the grand staircase in the main hotel lobby, away from the main panel rooms. If the staircase is not in use for an event, you can use the stairwell in the corner of the main hotel lobby, near the luggage carts, and there are elevators on the other side of the lobby you can use to get upstairs to the second floor.
