Synopsis:

ENG It’s the 22nd year of Jung Jong, and the plague has taken over Joseon. People are starving. Fear is rampant. Fear becomes panic when rumors begin to swirl that a grotesque beast–called “Monstrum” by terrified masses–has been preying on humans in Mount Inwangsan. The quickly spreading rumors claim that the beast will tear to bloody shreds any climber that comes into its It’s the 22nd year of Jung Jong, and the plague has taken over Joseon. The quickly spreading rumors claim that the beast will tear to bloody shreds any climber that comes into its path. In order to quell the rising panic and restore stability, Jung Jong brings in Yun Kyum, former General of the Royal Guard and the best warrior Joseon has ever known, to find the mythical beast.

FR C'est la 22ème année de Jung Jong et la peste s'est emparée de Joseon. Les gens meurent de faim et la peur est endémique. La panique survient lorsque des rumeurs commencent à tourbillonner selon lesquelles une bête grotesque - appelée « Monstrum » par des masses terrifiées - s'attaquait aux humains sur le mont Inwangsan. Les rumeurs qui se propagent rapidement prétendent que la bête déchiquètera tout grimpeur qui se met sur son chemin. Afin de réprimer la panique croissante et de rétablir la stabilité, Jung Jong fait appel à Yun Kyum un ancien général de la Garde royale et meilleur guerrier que Joseon ait connu, pour retrouver la bête mythique.

NL Het is het 22ste jaar van de Koning Jung Jong en de pest heeft Joseon overgenomen. Mensen verhongeren. De angst is heersend. De angst wordt een paniek wanneer geruchten van doodsbange massa’s beginnen te wervelen dat een grotesk beest, genaamd "Monstrum" de mensen hebben opgegeten in Mount Inwangsan. De snel verspreide geruchten gaan de ronde dat het beest elke klimmer die in zijn weg staat, aan bloederige flarden zal verscheuren. Om de stijgende paniek te onderdrukken en de stabiliteit te herstellen, heeft de Koning Jung Jong, Yun Kyum, de voormalige generaal van de Koninklijke Garde en de beste krijger die Joseon ooit gekend heeft, ingeroepen om het mythische beest te vinden.
