Glasgow City Council is currently consulting on a draft City Development Plan that will set out a ten-year strategy for the use and development of land in the city. Taking us into the mid to late 2030s, the plan will play a crucial role in Glasgow's response to major challenges, including the housing crisis and the climate and nature emergencies
The session will bring together a panel of expert commentators to explore the possible futures the plan imagines for Glasgow, reflecting on its opportunities, challenges and implications for the city's communities, places and environment
This session is part of the programme for the GALLANT Gathering 2026: Building Climate Resilience from Glasgow to the Globe. We warmly invite you to join us for the Gathering and explore the wider programme of events. Attendance is entirely free, and you can register for one day, two days or all three days of the event.
