The first part of the three part groundbreaking play Torch Song Trilogy, by Harvey Fierstein. In International Stud, Arnold, a drag queen who goes by Virginia Hamm, meets and begins dating Ed Reiss, who is uncomfortable with his bisexuality. This discomfort becomes an increasing source of conflict between the two, causing Ed to consider leaving Arnold for a woman named Laurel.
