The second part of the three part groundbreaking play Torch Song Trilogy, by Harvey Fierstein. Staged in a giant bed from which no one escapes, A Fugue in the Nursery picks up one year after International Stud left off. Arnold meets Alan and the two settle down into a blissful existence that includes plans to adopt a child. The couple visits Ed and Laurel in their country home. The couples struggle to cope with their feelings about Ed and Arnold’s previous relationship.
