Join us for an evening of experimental music with the meteoric rising star artist NIMF!

NIMF is the project of Irish composer and performance artist Aoibhín Redmond, whose work merges dark ambient, folk ritual and experimental sound design into immersive acts of sonic possession. Her forthcoming debut album Sirenoscape is a hallucinatory, genre-eroding odyssey, drawing from spectral tradition and cosmic horror to conjure worlds both devotional and disorienting. Based in New Jersey, she is a Keychange artist with performances across Europe and the U.S., and coverage in The Guardian, RTÉ and The Thin Air.

The Oneiricological Sirenoscape is an album of three separate scenes in a new maximalist concept genre, using a morphing combination of cinematic sound design, hypnotic instrumentation, and dark ambience to generate a transformative experience. The genre was developed for a Master’s Thesis at Trinity College Dublin, placing the audience in a specific sonic perspective of a character in a dramatic scene through the use of diegetic sounds that are slowly subverted, combining hypnotic repetition with subliminal transformation, where reality itself decays to create an uncanny hallucinatory and metaphysical effect, illustrating the fever-dreamed and morphic eerie transience of reality itself. Providing not only an exciting and accessible listening experience, it also produces a limit-experience, the sensation of the lifting of the veil.

And while you're there, why not take in the exhibition of Steven Stapleton's work - The Formless Irregular
