Eilis de Faoite - Bare Witness - opening night - supporting MSF in Gaza

Join us for the opening of Bare Witness - a harrowing body of work created by multidisciplinary artist Eilis de Faoite in response to the tragedy of the people of Gaza.

All proceeds from the sale of works and catalogues - as well as all the contributions left on this page - will be donated to Médécins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders to assist their work in Gaza.

Irrespective of our political affiliations and our ideas, we have all been horrified by the violence that befell the inhabitants of Gaza, a troubled land which does not seem to find its peace.

The work of Eilis de Faoite focuses on the innocent victims of the violence, avoiding political and patriotic rhetoric to focus on the people who are caught in the middle, and have to bear suffering that we had hoped would be banished from our world for good.

Let these harrowing portraits be a stark reminder of the true horrors of war.
