Welcome to the Empathy Café Galway!
A warm, safe and welcoming space to connect, practise empathy and learn how to communicate with more awareness, authenticity and less judgement.
Through conversation, reflection and practical exercises, we develop emotional intelligence, self-awareness, empathic listening, compassion and healthier communication skills. We explore how to understand our feelings and needs, listen without immediately judging or fixing, express ourselves honestly, and feel more confident being ourselves while staying connected with others.
Inspired by Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Empathy Café is also a small community social change initiative. We believe that more self-aware, resilient and connected individuals help create more resilient and thriving communities.
Each week brings a different topic.
