Garage Gallery E17 'Roam' Walking and Drawing Tour

Reserve your free ticket for our Walking and Drawing Tour on Sunday 21st September, 10am - 12.30pm

Our show 'Roam' features paintings by three artists, Millicent Evans, Octavia Madden and Toby Wills-Hart, who say that “walking, pottering, exploring and drawing is the fuel behind all our paintings”.  

They will be taking this ethos outside the Gallery and leading a ‘Walking and Drawing’ tour in the local area.  Participants are asked to bring basic materials (sketchbook and drawing materials of their choice) although we will have a limited supply available. The walk, which is under 2 miles in length, will stop in 3 different locations to draw, and start and finish at the Gallery.  Please note that this event is weather dependent and will not take place if it is raining; we will email you if the event is to be cancelled.  

Please note the following:

• The route is step-free, although the terrain may be uneven at times. There is one fairly steep hill.
• The group may be standing for some time while drawing at each location. There is limited public seating available at each stop.
• Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear and bring any refreshments that you may need.
• Under-18’s are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
• Be aware that we will be in public spaces at all times so there may be interaction with other members of the public. You are responsible for yourself and your belongings at all times.
• We will ask you to complete a short form on arrival at the gallery for health and safety reasons.

You are welcome to visit 'Roam' after the Tour, or come another time (no booking needed).  It is open Fri 19th - Sun 21st and Fri 26th - Sun 28th Sept, 10am - 4pm each day.
