During my research for Mien Ruys: The Mother of Modernist Gardens, I made connections with many interesting people. This talk examines the life and work of Mien Ruys through these individuals, telling their stories and through them, telling Mien's too. The presentation will give some insight into Mien's designs, working process, the world she lived in and the people she influenced.
