Single Class tickets are released on the 15th of each month for the following month. You may purchase up to 2 tickets per class.

December classes go on sale on November 15 at 10 am. Click the "Buy Tickets" button to see available dates.


Single Class: For Families is an informal 2-hour clay class where families can work together using hand-building techniques to create decorative sculptures, guided by an experienced artist instructor in a professional ceramics studio. Instruction is provided at the beginner level.

Choose a ticket for two (2) participants (One child ages 5 - 13 and one adult 18+) or three (3) participants (Two children ages 5 - 13 and one adult 18+). Your ticket includes access to earthenware clay, underglazes, and a variety of tools, as well as the firing of one work per participant. Additional firings are $10 per piece per firing. This class does not include glazing.

Important Information:

Ticketholders, including Students and Gardiner Friends, will be asked to produce ID when checking in for the class. Discount does not apply to Get Acquainted pass holders. Friends may only purchase at the discounted rate for Friendship card holders.

Tickets for this class are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of reason. Due to the volume of requests and the small size of our team, we are unable to respond to or accommodate requests for refunds or transfers at this time.

Class Policies:

The hand building demonstration will begin 5 minutes into the class. The final 30 minutes of the class are for clean up.

Works made in this class are decorative and not food safe.

Firing and Pick Up:

Works are fired in our electric kilns and will be ready for pick up two (2) weeks after your class.

Fired pieces can ONLY be picked up on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am – 4:30 pm. No exceptions.

Please check in at the Front Desk when you arrive to pick up your work. We do not provide packing materials, bags, or boxes to carry your works.
