Gartmore Screening - People's Emergency Briefing

The UK faces a growing climate and nature emergency and yet most people don’t fully understand what it means for our health, food systems, national security, the economy and our lives and future.

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crises to politicians and other influential people in government.

The People’s Emergency Briefing film sets out that information in a frank but engaging way and is being shown in communities up and down the country. It is intended to provide people with the facts about climate and nature and to initiate a discussion on what action could be taken locally to address the impacts.

The film is being shown in Gartmore Village Hall at 7pm on Friday 20^th November and will be followed by group discussion about what all of this means for Gartmore.
