Day 3: Exploring The Odyssey with the Modern Theatre of Myth / Nausicaa with Michele Cuomo. (3pm - 9pm) 15£

Day 3: Exploring The Odyssey: 

Come join us for a day long exploration of the myth and characters of The Odyssey. A theatre workshop on MToM's popular version of the piece exploring and expanding on the role of the Goddesses in helping Odysseus home. We will spend some getting to know Calypso, Circe, Ino, Athena, and Nausicaa, and stop by in Hades, the Land of Shadow. We look for both the humor and the philosophic, and magical elements of the work. 

The Workshop with be run by Georgia McGill, the Resident Director and founder of the Modern Theatre of Myth, in New York, and Greg Dinunzi (The Blackbird) who is the Resident Composer co-founder or MToM, and the Artistic Director of the Enchantment Festival. 

With Fra Gunn, Michele Cuomo, Maxine Ridout Prime & Taking-The-Space, Ruhiya and others.

Additionally, Michele Coumo will read what P.L. Travers beautifully wrote looking through the eyes of Nausicaa, the young maiden who found a beaten Odysseus back on a human beach after his extraordinary journey.

Then we will informally present sections of what the day delivers us. All are invited to the entire day's events.
