Join us to volunteer for Harvest 2026 at Gatcombe Estate Vineyard! 

Every year, harvest at Gatcombe is dictated entirely by the grapes — not the calendar! Depending on ripeness, weather, and sugar levels, harvest is likely to fall somewhere between the last week of September and the third week of October, and typically runs over the course of a week, once it begins.

We'd love for you to join us for this special, hands-on experience in the vineyard — but because we can't yet say exactly when harvest week will fall, we're inviting you to join our waitlist instead of booking a fixed date.

What happens next:
Once our winemaker gives us the green light — usually with just a few days' notice — we'll email you with the confirmed dates for the harvest week and a link to book your place. Spaces are limited, so we'd recommend keeping an eye on your inbox!

A taste of the day:
Harvest is early, hands-on, and genuinely rewarding — a real taste of vineyard life rather than a spectator day out. Expect an early start, a good few hours of grape picking, a sandwich and drink at lunchtime, and the chance to be part of a lovely community of like-minded people who share a real love for what grows here. We'll send you all the practical details — timings, what to bring, and more — once your dates are confirmed.
