Gather X Hidden Scotland - 'A Midsummer Dream'

'Gather' is a relaxed seasonal supper club, celebrating quality ingredients and delicious sharing dishes. A passion project of two friends, who love to host, cook and forage.

As the spring months stretch into the arms of summer, we welcome you to our first feast of the year "Gather x Hidden Scotland: A Midsummer Dream."

Hosted by Gather in celebration of Hidden Scotland magazine’s tenth edition, this very special event takes place on Saturday, 21st June at 12.30pm. An afternoon inspired by the summer solstice and the art of storytelling, culminating in an unforgettable dining experience.

Set upon the beautiful banks of the River Dee, amongst tree canopy and lush florals, this afternoon feast will embrace the joy of midsummer—a time of abundance, growth, and nature's rich larder.

In collaboration with Graeme Johncock, Hidden Scotland’s beloved folklore writer and best-selling author, this feast will intertwine live storytelling as seasonal sharing plates pass hands. Graeme will enchant guests by reading aloud traditional tales, drawing from the rich folklore he brings to life in every edition of Hidden Scotland.

Each ticket includes a 4-course sharing menu and a complimentary non-alcoholic welcome drink. We invite you to bring a own bottle of your favourite drink, whether that's wine or a non-alcoholic alternative - unlimited corkage is covered in the ticket price.

This experience also includes a copy of the brand-new 10th edition of Hidden Scotland Magazine.

Please note, due to the sharing nature of this dining experience, as well as limited kitchen facilities at the venue, we are regrettably unable to cater for allergies and dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten free. We're sorry we can't accommodate you on this occasion.

TIMINGS:

Due to the relaxed and slow-living nature of our suppers, we are unable to guarantee an end time. Instead, we give a 'guide' end time of 3.30pm, but ask our guests to be aware that the evening may overrun past this time, or even finish early. All good things take time.

TOILET DISCLAIMER / DISABILITIES:

Due to the nature of The Old Sawmill setting, toilet facilities are located a short walk from where the meal will be held. 

Any guests with disabilities or difficulty walking can email us to enquire about the suitability of these facilities before purchasing a ticket.
