NXT GEN: Animal Art Workshop with James Banks 

Join local professional artist James Banks for an exciting charcoal drawing workshop designed for young people aged 9–15 years.

James is a qualified BSL interpreter and experienced artist who specialises in creating stunning animal artwork using charcoal. Throughout the session, he will guide young people step-by-step through drawing techniques, helping them build confidence and create their own realistic animal portraits inspired by wildlife images.

Whether you're already into art or just want to try something new, this is a great chance to learn new skills, get creative, and produce artwork to take home and be proud of.

After the main activity, all NXT GEN sessions include free time at the end of the day. Young people can relax, play games, chat with friends, or just enjoy time together in a safe and relaxed space.
