Nerikomi class with Adele Williams

Join Adele Williams for a creative morning exploring Nerikomi,  a Japanese ceramic technique using coloured clay to create beautiful patterns that run all the way through the piece, not just on the surface.

Adele will guide you through colouring clay, building patterns, using moulds and handbuilding techniques to sculpt them into finished forms. Each slice reveals a new pattern, making every piece that you make one of a kind. 

This relaxed, hands-on class is perfect for anyone who loves colour, pattern, and trying new ceramic techniques. All materials provided, with finished pieces fired and transparent glazed for a glossy food safe surface after the workshop.

Pieces ready for collection a few weeks post workshop. No previous ceramics experience is needed for this class.
