Large Throwing Full Day Course August (experienced students only)

Large Throwing Workshop CURRENT STUDENTS ONLY 

It is finally here! Large throwing workshop at Parndon Mill in Harlow. This class is all about joining pieces and being more confident with throwing larger. With focus on spiral wedging to begin with. We will be throwing two pieces in the morning that will join together in the afternoon. We will run over throwing larger techniques, drying, joining and how to plan a joined piece. focusing on gaining height we can talk over how pieces are made, joined and how to prevent pieces splitting apart in the kiln. 

These pieces are able to be trimmed in future workshops, it is okay if youre starting small and stacking small to make large. 

Any time left over start beginning throwing some larger pieces for future projects, we can keep these damp. 

Please bring lunch I will have snacks and some tea/ coffee.
