If you aren't ready for a raunchy, unorthodox look at being a birth professional and are easily offended, this class may not be for you.

This is a disclaimer: Gena might offend your sensibilities and make you think about birth in a way you may not have before. Her teaching methods are odd, and sometimes uncomfortable. You will hear the occasional curse word here and there. Again, if this sounds like something you wouldn't enjoy, it may be worth reconsidering your decision to take this course. If, however, you are open minded, want to be challenged, and dare to want to look at birth in a way you haven't before, this class is for you.You will learn about:- The first in home visit with your clients
- Various calming techniques to share with the birth partner (whomever this will be)
- How to help calm a birthing person in various ways
- Ways to move the birthing person in order to move the baby
- Comforting positions in labor
- How to use the rebozo during pushing and post partum
- And much more!

My first rebozo workshop over 17 years ago

This class is not about just teaching techniques. This class is about sharing knowledge about how to use this ancient technology to provide strength comfort and relaxation to the laboring woman and her partner. 
This class is not about turning babies. Mother’s bodies and their babies KNOW how to be born when they are made to feel relaxed and safe this primal knowledge comes easily. The rebozo is there to provide the safety and support necessary to allow for this innate knowledge to show itself. Our students don’t teach how to move a baby. Rather we share how to get the birthing person realized enough to allow for the babe in Delta to find his or her own way in their own time.

There are TWO VIP tickets available. This ticket gets you in the event and
TWO rebozos. It also includes all four of Gena's EBOOKS, and drinks with Gena after the class. Plus a copy of Patrick Houser's THE FATHERS TO BE HAND GUIDE 
This isn't JUST a workshop. We will get to know other doulas on a deep level and learn about ourselves and each other.

ABOUT GENA
I have been a doula instructor for over 16 years. I have shared my love of the rebozo with over 8,689 doulas. I a have taught all over the US and Canada, and as far as South Africa. I have taught in 44 states and have enjoyed having Nurses and Obstetricians in my workshop. I served on the board of directors for ATTACHMENT PARENTING INTERNATIONAL for 5+ years. I am a La Leche League Certified Breastfeeding Peer Counselor. I have hosted my podcast (was a radio show when I started) for 17+ years. I don't just teach about the rebozo.
