Empowered Period Care

Understand your cycle. Unlearn what you were taught. Build a relationship with your body that actually belongs to you.

A 6-week Online program from September 22 - Oct 27th

Periods are often talked about as something to manage, hide, push through or simply tolerate.

But how many of us were ever actually taught how our cycle works? How to recognize our own patterns? How our needs may shift throughout the month? Or how much of what we've learned about menstruation has been shaped by culture, medicine, productivity, gender and shame?

Empowered Period Care is a six-week exploration of the menstrual cycle that brings together education, unlearning, body awareness and somatic practice.

You'll learn what's happening physiologically throughout your cycle while exploring your own unique patterns, needs and experiences. And rather than asking your body to conform to a textbook version of a “normal” cycle, we'll help you develop the tools to listen to, understand and care for the body you're actually living in.

Because there isn't one right way to have a period.

Period care for real bodies and real lives.

Not every cycle is 28 days.

Not everyone ovulates on day 14.

Not everyone experiences increased energy, creativity or sociability at the same points in their cycle.

And not everyone who menstruates is a woman.

Empowered Period Care intentionally makes space for queer and gender-diverse people, neurodivergent experiences, irregular cycles, painful periods, cyclic divergence and bodies that simply don't follow the textbook.

The program explores individual biological baselines and cycle variations rather than positioning difference as failure, while recognizing that factors such as stress, disability, pain, sleep, medication, nutrition, neurodivergence and workload can influence how someone experiences their cycle.

Your cycle doesn't need to look like anyone else's to be worth understanding.

What makes this program different?

Learn.

Understand the physiology of the menstrual cycle, hormonal shifts and what may be happening in your body throughout each phase.

Unlearn.

Explore the historical, cultural and commercial stories that have shaped how we think about menstruation, productivity, rest and what a “normal” cycle is supposed to look like.

Notice.

Learn to track more than dates. Begin noticing your own patterns across physical symptoms, energy, emotions, sensory needs and lived experience so you can better understand your individual baseline.

Experience.

Each session balances information with experiential somatic integration, creating opportunities to move beyond intellectually understanding your cycle and begin noticing what your body is communicating.

Care.

Explore practical ways to support yourself through nourishment, movement, rest, nervous-system care, boundaries and other forms of whole-person care throughout your cycle.

Your 6-Week Journey

Week 1 - September 22nd

The Colonized Cycle
Deconstruction & Awareness

Begin by exploring the historical, social and commercial conditioning surrounding menstruation and cycling bodies. We'll question ideas about shame, concealment, productivity and what we've been taught our bodies should be able to do every day.

Week 2 - September 29th

Mapping Your Inner Landscape
Cycle Tracking & Cyclic Divergence

Learn the foundations of your hormonal cycle and challenge the “standard 28-day cycle” as the benchmark for everyone. Begin mapping your own physical symptoms, energy and patterns while exploring the many ways cycles can diverge from textbook expectations.

Week 3 - October 6th

Inner Winter
The Menstrual Phase

Explore what's happening in your body during menstruation and what support might look like for your experience. We'll consider rest, nourishment, movement, sensory and nervous-system care without assuming everyone experiences menstruation the same way. The program materials explicitly recognize that some people need greater rest while others may feel energized or unchanged.

Week 4 - October 13th

Inner Spring
The Follicular Phase

Explore the period following menstruation as estrogen begins to rise and your body moves toward ovulation. Learn to notice emerging energy and possibility without turning your cycle into another productivity system.

Week 5 - October 20th

Inner Summer
The Ovulatory Phase

Learn what's happening around ovulation while exploring expression, connection and visibility through an inclusive lens. This week also challenges assumptions that ovulation should make everyone more feminine, sexual, outgoing or socially available.

Week 6 - October 27th

Inner Autumn
The Luteal Phase

Explore the physical and emotional experiences that can arise between ovulation and menstruation, with a focus on grounding, discernment, boundaries and responsive care rather than judging or dismissing what your body is communicating.

This program might be for you if...

You want to understand your menstrual cycle beyond what you learned in health class. You want practical tools for noticing and responding to your body's changing needs. You've never felt represented by the perfectly predictable “28-day cycle.” You're curious about the relationship between your cycle, energy, nourishment, movement, emotions and nervous system. You want to unpack period shame or beliefs you've inherited about rest and productivity. Or you simply want to feel more informed and empowered in the care of your own body.

You don't need be a certain age, have a “regular” cycle, a particular gender identity or a specific relationship with menstruation to belong here.

*NOTE: If this course seems like a good fit for another human in your life (your partner, someone new to their cycle, or someone who deserved a more inclusive period education), we have an option for a discounted rate for bringing a loved one along with you at checkout.
