Georgetown Volunteer Fire relies on fundraising as our only source of income. The volunteers use the raised funds to purchase needed supplies for firefighters and important firefighting equipment. Some of the equipment we have purchased in the past include thermal imaging cameras for structural firefighting, stabilization equipment for traffic collisions to keep firefighters safe, and most recently, a Zoll Autopulse CPR device that has been deployed several times since its introduction at our department. We are fortunate to have an active volunteer program!

Buy a ticket today and play in an exciting Texas Hold' Em tournament. Play against other players for prizes and fun. If you love poker, this is an exciting opportunity! If you have never played, don’t worry, we are going to have a short introduction to poker before the tournament starts.

Tournament Format

• $100 Buy-in Starting Chip Stack 4K.

• $40 Optional Dealer Add-on Gets an Additional 10K in Chips only during the 1st break  

• $20 Re-buy 3K in Chips up to the First Break
• 4 hour tournament. Blinds timing will be adjusted to keep tournament to 4 hour limit.

No Host Bar with servers
Georgetown Distillery will be at the event pouring your favorite drinks! Remember to tip your waiter or waitress!

Prizes

Due to the charity nature of this event, prizes will consist of tangible items. No cash prizes will be awarded. Due to state law, prize values must be limited to $500 per prize and $5000 total value for all prizes.

Benefits of being a event sponsor include having your name or business name mentioned during the tournament as well as in our social media posts and press releases for publication. If you would like to have a booth or presence during the tournament, lets discuss it. There are only a few table sponsorships so act soon!
