G-Festival 2023

We're back! 

We've finally found a venue partner that shares our vision and values: reaching out to those children who need it most; helping them build their own sustainable future.

Our new home at AFC Monton means that we can not only increase the capacity but also improve the service and facilities on the day. So  G-Fest  2023 will set a new standard.

Two stages will again provide the best in local talent and well-known lead acts. We are chuffed to re-launch G-Fest with The Lightning Seeds as our headline act. Currently back in the charts with Three Lions, Ian Broudie and the band will be playing songs off their new album alongside instantly recognized classics like Pure, Life of Riley, and Sense. 

And we will keep the standard high by returning as many of our past favourites back to re-launch the UK's biggest and best charity music festival (*in our opinion - although we couldn't find one bigger!). Oasis Limited and The Absolute Stone Roses are already confirmed.

The event is ticket only and alcohol and food purchased on the premises is allowed (sealed bottles of water and children's food and drinks only will be allowed past Security). Remember, unlike most others, this is not a commercial event - it is run entirely by volunteers and every penny of profit goes straight to helping children both in Salford and around the world to eat, be clothed, educated and even walk. Not a lot to ask, but some, even on our own doorstep, have fallen through the cracks.  If you are only going to go to one music festival this year, go to the one that makes a difference.

(Family Tickets are two adults and two under-17s; Youth tickets are for 6 to 16 years; if you're five or under you get to go in free, but we'll be suspicious if you have a can of Stella in one hand and a vape in the other).

Please be aware of Facebook posts trying to sell tickets directly - they are often scammers who are trying to get you to make a payment for something you will never see. We do monitor the comments section on our Facebook posts and have removed several who clearly hadn't bought tickets and were offering to sell them cheap because they 'now can't make it'.

We're sorry, but only assistance dogs are allowed this year. We'll work on letting the furry rascals back in next year so that they can get their G-Fest fix too.

Also, there is no car parking at the venue - drop off only. We'll suggest some places to park on our Facebook page, but public transport or a nice walk may be a better option. It's good for you and the planet!

CANCELLATION POLICY: These tickets are non-cancellable. Please remember that we are a charity, run totally by volunteers so that every penny we make goes to really needy children. We are charged by the ticket platform and the payment platform every time we sell a ticket and we have no way of claiming this back. We also use the money as it comes in to pay for the infrastructure of the event - we will only earn funds on the day from food and drink sales and sponsorship. If the Festival sells out we will open up unwanted tickets for re-sale, and this will be advertised on our Facebook Pages.
