GCS Christmas Dinner 2026

Dear Alumni and Friends:

It is our distinct pleasure to invite members of the University of Cambridge, alongside our esteemed friends from Oxford and the Ivy Circle, to our traditional Christmas dinner. This year’s festivities will be held in the grand surroundings of Restaurant Château Royal, with 28 exclusive seats available for the evening. 

We look forward to gathering for a wonderful occasion of fine dining and lively conversation to celebrate the season. In keeping with tradition, the dress code for the event will be black tie.

• Mixed leaf salad with French vinaigrette and fresh herbs

Main Course

• Meat: Braised beef cheek with a lingonberry jus, served with thyme-roasted potatoes
• Vegetarian: Roasted Hokkaido pumpkin with feta cream and crispy Tuscan kale (cavolo nero)
• Accompanied by seasonal vegetables.
