Winter Wellbeing: Park Wood
Multiple dates and times
Park Wood, Keighley, BD21 4QH
Description
A welcoming social group for adults to learn new skills and support wellbeing. Spending time outdoors is a great way to reduce stress, improve mood and meet people. In these sessions practitioners Annie or Sam will share outdoor skills including bushcraft, shelter building, fire lighting and campfires. You can book one session or a series, but participants are encouraged to come on a weekly basis to feel the benefits of spending time outdoors with like minded individuals, this winter.
There are some steep hills in the woods and some of the activities are physically active. No dogs or children please.
The session will run from 1pm until 3pm in Park Wood Keighley. We will meet opposite Park Wood recreation ground on Kendal Street.
The group will be run by:
Annie Berrington from Get Out More, a social enterprise on a mission to help people engage with nature to feel better in mind and body. Annie is a qualified forest school leader.
Free event but places must be booked in advance. If the group is full, please add your name to the waiting list.
