Outdoor Futures - Free Employment Pathway Course for 16+

Outdoor Futures is a FREE course designed to help you develop the skills needed to work outdoors with children and young people who have additional needs and disabilities.

Whether you are looking to build confidence, gain practical experience or explore a new career course, this course offers hands-on learning in inclusive outdoor environments.

The course programme includes:

• Introduction to Forest School Level 1 Course (click here to learn more about this qualification) 
• Emergency First Aid at Work & Safeguarding qualifications
• Work placement days
• Job skills
• DBS check
• One to one support

The course will take place in Keighley over seven weeks. 

Sessions will start on Thursday, 5th November and continue weekly until Thursday, 17th December. 

6 of the 7 days will run from 09:30-14:30, and 1 day will run from 09:30-16:30.

Participants must be able to commit to full attendance to qualify for course completion. An additional 2x voluntary work placement days will also be required (dates to be determined).
