Get Out More is running a Forest School Level 1 accredited training course, taking place 9 -11 March  2022. The Level 1 course is an introduction to the ethos and principles of Forest School and will introduce the concepts of forest school and a range of basic woodland skills. It will allow participants to look at using the outdoor environment to facilitate different learning styles and to encourage the development of personal skills such as confidence and self-esteem.

This course is suitable for teaching staff and anyone working with children and young people. It is ideal for those people who are wanting to gain skills for working outdoors with individuals and groups, those who want to explore Forest Schools within their own setting or those who wish to support a trained Forest Schools practitioner.

This course is delivered by Get Out More on behalf of Kindling Play and Training. The course is regulated by NOCN One Awards through Kindling and Scotswood Community Garden

The course fee is £250 per person to be paid in advance.

Free and subsidised places are available to nurseries and schools in the Better Start Bradford and Forest Pathways programmes - eligible settings in these programmes should contact us for an application form prior to booking a place.  You will then receive an access code to access the free or subsidised places.
