This event is for booking by unit leaders only. Parents/carers and young members should contact their unit leader if they are interested in their group taking part in this event.

Event description

Bubbs Hill Bash is back for 2026! Come and join us for the fun. Due to popular demand the silent disco will be returning this year for overnight participants

The Bash takes place on the Saturday afternoon on Bubbs Hill. In teams, participants will move around the leader-led bases to earn points, competing against the other teams. Leaders will need to ensure Girlguiding ratios are covered at all times. If booking a mix of residential and day tickets, please ensure you have enough leaders to cover both groups. We may need to split the group for pick up/drop off and meal times.

Event details

• Venue: Cowley Adventure (formerly Deer Park), GL53 9NJ
• Who is it for?: Guides, Rangers and Young Leaders
• Date: 27-28 June 2026
• Time: 8.30am on Saturday to 12 noon on Sunday
• Transport: We operate a one way system in and out of the site, with staggered arrival and departure times. Parents will be expected to stick to their given times and follow the system for the safety of all. 

Costs:

• Overnight participant £38.50 (or £35.50 if booked by 20 March 2026) – This includes all the Bash activities, dinner and breakfast, overnight fees, silent disco and the event badge.
• Day only participant £28.50 (or £25.50 if booked by 20 March 2026) - This includes the Bash activities, dinner and the event badge.
• Volunteers (including unit volunteers, event volunteers and young leaders on the service team). Overnight £10.50, Day only £5.50 - This includes all relevant meals and an event badge. All adults will be asked to help out at the Bash.

Booking information

This event is for young members to attend in their unit groups and should only be booked by the relevant unit volunteer, not by individual parents.

Additional participants or adults can be added at any time, please book as required, this will avoid participants missing out when the unit is still waiting for others to confirm.

Bookings close at the end of May 2026.
