Botanical Experience & Wellness (Harrow Edition)
A special Black History Month collaboration for delivering cultural-competent health information to raise awareness about the therapeutic benefits of different plants used in various cultural settings to support community and individual wellbeing.
Curated by Crowning Greatness CIC, Ghana's Fresh LIMITED & Plant Bioactives, this interactive and immersive day-event will not only broaden attendees' knowledge about plant therapies, but also provide opportunities to directly experience them through taster sessions.
There will be visual presentations, film screenings, group discussions as well as 'sip and taste' sessions to facilitate a wide-range of learning experiences with the healing power of plants.

12pm - Welcome & Introductions
Screening 1:
12.30 - 1.30pm - Film Screening 1: Healing pathways identified in cytotoxic plants and their use in cancer treatments, followed by Q&A/discussion session.
1.30 - 2pm: Sip with Nature session, tasting herbal teas.
2.00 - 2.30pm: Break for Lunch
Screening 2:2.30 - 3.30pm - Film Screening 2: Healing power of seed oils, using cold-pressed oils for epidermal infections & recovery, followed by Q&A/discussion session.
3.30 - 4pm: Patch test sessions, identifying which oils are right for you.
4.00 - 4.30pm: Networking session
4.20 - 4.30pm: Event ends
