Caldicot Castle.
Located in Monmouthshire, Wales, was originally built by the Normans in the 12th century on the site of an earlier Saxon fortification.
Expanded in the late 13th century by Humphrey de Bohun, it played a role in medieval conflicts but declined in importance by the 16th century.
The Cobb family restored it in the 19th century, and it is now a preserved historic monument and tourist attraction.
