Margam Castle is a 19th Century Tudor Gothic Mansion built in 1830-40, originally owned by the Talbot family until 1942 when it was acquired Sir David Evans Bevan a local landowner. In 1974 the County Council took over but it was it a dire state, with a disastrous fire gutting the place in 1977 a restoration process was begun and still continues.

Cold spots and orbs are reported throughout the castle and the sound of children giggling. Report of these children being a bit mischievous by moving objects and darting between doors. There have been many report from the night staff of running footsteps and chatting voices but with no sign of anyone else being there.

There is a more violent presence within Margam's walls which has been reported to slams doors and hurl objects!!
