100% That Stitch!, Girl Gang Manchester's meet and make social is back! Get creative and connect over your chosen craft activity with some bevs or brews on 17th November, 2-4pm.

 Want to meet liked minded people in a relaxed and cosy environment over some stitching, knitting, painting, sticking...? We have the social for you!

Whether you've come along before or are new to the group, everyone is welcome. Lots of folks come solo and leave with new contacts, so don't be worried you'll be the only one. Our Girl Gang members will be on hand to make you feel comfortable and introduce you to other newbies!

We meet on the 3^rd Sunday of the month.

The venue for this event is The King's Arms, M3 6AN. We have exclusive use of their 'snug' area, which is a comfy and warm space. All the usual drinks are available and you're welcome to bring some snacks... we'll provide a few too!

There’s no pressure to show off your talents or to explain what you’re doing. This is an opportunity to meet new people, have a chat and get some crafting done in a relaxed and cosy environment.

• This venue is wheelchair accessible with a small ramp and has ground level toilets. Please contact us in advance if you have any specific needs or ask your Girl Gang facilitator at the venue if anything arises. 

• The venue is near the city centre, approx. 10 minutes walk from Deansgate, 3 minutes walk from Salford Central. Parking and bus services are also nearby. 

• All gender toilets are provided- please ask to be directed.
  

• Plenty of seating will be available throughout the event.

• We happily offer free tickets for personal access assistants, please email us at girlgangmanchester@gmail.com to arrange this. Registered assistance dogs are also welcome!

• A Girl Gang Manchester team member will greet you as you enter the event space and will be available as a point of contact throughout the event if you require anything.

Why do we ask identity questions?

We want to make our events as inclusive as possible and we often get questions from people who for whatever reason say ‘I really want to come but I am nervous, will I be the odd one out?’ Whilst we will always strive to do our best to make everyone feel welcome, it is useful to know a little more about who our audience is for each event so we can be honest in our responses to any queries. It also helps us tailor events for the people attending and identify who we aren’t currently reaching with our work.
