And The Stars, They Watched
Victoria Tunah
@vic_toriarene
The endless ocean, two women, a baby and a boat. With only the stars to judge, how far would you go to protect what matters? A story of survival, loss and hope.
Victoria is a talent of Manchester’s theatre scene and prolific in her writing which is always snappy, exciting, well observed and buzzing with energy.
Working title: All love, all pain, all at once.
Clementine Bogg-Hargroves @clementinebogghargroves is a theatre and filmmaker hanging on by the skin of her teeth.
All love, all pain, all at once is a romantic duologue between a man and a woman in a long-term relationship, tackling the issues of class. The duologue will either be performed by one or two people. Depending on who turns up.
Some of you may recognise Clem as she looks remarkably similar to October’s scratch night inspirational speaker Shaun…
Doll Parts
Katie Mulgrew @mulgatron
Award winning writer, actor and stand-up Katie has been heard on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 2, CBBC and ITV2! Her play Omnibus won Liverpool’s Hope Playwriting prize and was co- produced by Liverpool’s Royal Court and Unity theatre.
Doll Parts is a short theatre piece about a woman's changing relationship with her body and the trauma all women's bodies experience from adolescence to adulthood.
PSEUDO//DGIDGI
Scarœ
@scaroe_music
scarœ's punchy poetship, fused with sublime dark pop textures, and glitch-rock presence, offers an ear-worm with every bop.
Step into scarœ’s cybernetic ‘Black Box’: a lyrically liminal space where we analyse the chronic data stored in the body, and pseudo-perceptions of hidden disability, in a surge of eccentric gig-theatre.
We’ve never really seen anything like this before, and are incredibly excited to have Scarœ scratching their new record with us. Get a sense of the vibe here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yu4bU2s7lQ

New Songs, New Places.
weird guitar sounds. acoustic experimentalism. big feelings.
Octavia @yourdelicatefriend says ‘I'm going to air some new material, then finish with a free improvisation in a spontaneous tuning. ‘
--
We were privileged to have Octavia’s songs as part of Millennial Pink at PUSH festival this year and we absolutely fell in love with her folky americana,Elliot Smith inspired acoustic sounds and are so excited to hear more! Check out Octavia’s gorgeous tunes via her instagram @yourdelicatefriend

Why do we need this event and why should you support it?
This will be a community centred and supportive evening that gives Manchester based artists the chance to try out and experiment with new work and receive feedback from their artistic community and potential audiences.
Giving artists a space to perform at low stakes can stimulate ideas and facilitate community bonds, but it can also create vital space for evidence gathering and practice or rehearsal that is usually tricky and expensive to come by!
This scratch night is unfunded so we can’t guarantee artist fees. Ticket prices will reflect the unready, itchiness of the evening, as well as keeping the event accessible. Sales will cover our costs and technical support from the venue. You can also donate direct to artists when you buy your tickets or on the night.
Prices:
We do self assessed tiered ticketing to try and make our events as accessible as possible. Please use honestly to support us in making our work sustainable <3

Why do we ask identity questions?
We want to make our events as inclusive as possible and we often get questions from people who for whatever reason say ‘I really want to come but I am nervous, will I be the odd one out?’ Whilst we will always strive to do our best to make everyone feel welcome, it is useful to know a little more about who our audience is for each event so we can be honest in our responses to any queries. It also helps us tailor events for the people attending and identify who we aren’t currently reaching with our work.
This data really helps us, please answer any questions you feel comfortable with. If you do not want to share this information, please leave it blank. More information can be found on our Privacy Policy.
