Thinking of taking up a new hobby or revisiting an existing one for 2022? Want to meet liked minded people in a relaxed and cosy environment over some stitching, knitting, painting, sticking...? We have the social for you!

100% That Stitch! is Girl Gang Manchester's meet and make social. Get creative and connect over your chosen craft activity with some bevs or brews on 20th February, 2-4pm.

Whether you've come along before when we were online or are new to the group, everyone is welcome. 

We meet on the 3^rd Sunday of the month. Our last two face to face events sold out, so book early to avoid disappointment :)

Join us on 20th February at 2-4ish pm at The King's Arms, M3 6AN. We have exclusive use of their 'snug' area, which is a comfy and warm space. All the usual drinks are available and you're welcome to bring some snacks... we'll provide a few too!

Optional extra activity: Do you have a book that you’ve enjoyed that is now sitting gathering dust? Bring it along and swap for someone else’s! All genres welcome!

About the group

During lockdown we met once a fortnight via Zoom. We made some crafty connections, shared some tips and built a welcoming group that lifted our spirits, but now we're able to meet up IRL!

Bring your own craft project and magpie some ideas from others! There’s no pressure to show off your talents or to explain what you’re doing, though we usually break the ice and get comfortable by sharing what we're up to.

This is an opportunity to meet new people, have a chat and get some crafting done!

About the venue

The venue is wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible toilet. 

The King's Arms is 100 metres from Salford Central station or 10mins walk from Deansgate- we love supporting independent local businesses, especially those owned and run by women! Check out the pictures on our social media of January's event to see the space :)

Why we ask identity questions?

We want to make our events as inclusive as possible and we often get questions from people who for whatever reason say ‘I really want to come but I am nervous, will I be the odd one out?’ Whilst we will always strive to do our best to make everyone feel welcome, it is useful to know a little more about who our audience is for each event so we can be honest in our responses to any queries. It also helps us tailor events for the people attending and identify who we aren’t currently reaching with our work.

COVID 19

It's unlikely with numbers in the group that there will be space to 2m socially distance from each other. 

Masks are a personal choice (currently)- if wearing a face covering makes you feel more comfortable you are welcome to. 

Please take a Lateral Flow Test no more than 24 hrs before the event and don't attend if you have COVID symptoms so we all stay safe.
