Women’s Squash Festival – During The London Squash Classic

Join Middlesex Squash and Girls in Motion for a vibrant and inclusive Women’s Squash Festival, hosted alongside The London Squash Classic. 

Where: Coaching and competition at Coolhurst Tennis & Squash Club, Coolhurst Rd, N8 8EY. Evening at Alexandra Palace, N22 7AY.

When: Thursday 3rd September 2026, 10.30am or 1.15pm start. Please arrive 30mins before start time for registration. 

The festival features a fun and social team squash event, with teams allocated on the day and a minimum of three games played. Players of all standards are welcome, making this a relaxed and supportive way to compete, meet new people and enjoy squash in a great atmosphere.

You can choose from two ticket options:

• Afternoon Event & Evening watching the pros (from 1.15pm): Team squash, socialising, and tickets to watch the pros at The London Squash Classic.

• Morning Coaching +Afternoon Event & Evening watching the pros (from 10.30am): Train like a pro with a morning coaching session, enjoy a buffet included in the ticket price, then take part in the afternoon event and watch the pros in action from 5pm. 

Your day

10.30am — Coaching (Full Day ticket) A women-only coaching session led by Lauren Selby and Emily Ison, who ran Norway's national squash programme together. Between them: a world top-40 playing career, England No.1 juniors, European titles — and a lifetime of getting women and girls playing. You'll work on your game alongside other women and girls, with female-led coaching throughout.

[12pm] — Buffet lunch (Full Day ticket)

1.15pm — Team competition You'll be put into a team of four and play at least three games against opponents at a similar level. Teams are allocated on the day — so come alone or bring friends, you'll leave with new ones. All standards welcome, from first-timers to county players.

5pm — The London Squash Classic, Alexandra Palace Your ticket includes the evening session at Ally Pally, where the world's best play on an all-glass court. Expect the likes of Jasmine Hutton, Gina Kennedy and Satomi Watanabe. (Line-up subject to change.)

This event is funded by England Squash's Community Projects Fund and Middlesex Squash, and supported by Girls in Motion.

By taking part, you're directly supporting Girls in Motion's work creating opportunities for women and girls to play squash — through inclusive events, coaching and leadership development. You're also supporting Rally28, the global campaign uniting the squash community ahead of the sport's Olympic debut at LA28, to secure a lasting legacy for grassroots development, community programmes and court infrastructure.
