The Daughter & Mother Girls in Business Camp Toronto 2024 introduces girls (ages 9-17) and mothers to basic business principles including the forms and types of businesses, business strategy, marketing and finance. Each daughter/mother duo will be guided through creating their own business and completing the activities below.

1. Name the business
2. Create a mission statement
3. Create a logo
4. Create a slogan or tagline
5. Design a business card
6. Create a marketing plan
7. Create a finance plan including a budget
8. Create a pitch for investors

After participants create their businesses, each entrepreneur team will pitch a group of mock investors (fellow participants) for the funding to launch their start-up.
