Business 101 for Girls Webinar introduces girls ages 10 to 16 to basic business principles including the forms and types of businesses, business strategy, marketing and finance. The student workbook includes a template for students to create a business and a business pitch. Students will participate in a second webinar to present the their business to fellow participants who will form a panel of mock investors. Participating Girl Scouts earn a business owner or business plan badge. This class is covered in two webinar sessions.
The webinar runs from 4pm to 6pmET, the second webinar for business presentations is privately scheduled on a Monday following the first webinar at 5pmET or 5pmPT. Students can participate in the Monday presentation session of their choice. The class workbook in .pdf format and a link to access the class will be sent upon registration. Is the registration fee refundable? The registration fee is non-refundable unless the organizer cancels the session. If a participant is unable to attend a webinar a credit will be placed on file that may be used at any time for a future program. The credit does not expire.
