We're celebrating World Thinking Day 2021 in our United Nations 101 for Girls webinar. The United Nations 101 for Girls Webinar introduces girls ages 10 to 16 to the structure of the United Nations, its work and international policy. Students engage in group discussion of current events and geopolitical issues then propose a resolution to an issue of their choice. This class will also introduce students to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. Girl Scouts participating in this class will earn the World Thinking Day 2021 Award. The theme for Girl Scouts' World Thinking Day 2021 celebrates what it means to be a peacebuilder.
