The Student Government 101 for Girls Webinar introduces girls ages 11 to 16 to the structure of student government, the roles of student government members and student government elections. This webinar is ideal for a student planning to enter school’s student government elections. Participants will receive guidance on the following activities to properly set up her campaign for student government.
1. Making an inventory of her leadership skills
2. Examining campaign issues
3. Creating her campaign platform
4. Creating her campaign outreach strategy for the student body
5. Assembling her campaign team
6. Implementing best practices for safely using social media during her campaign
7. Participating in a candidate debate
8. Creating campaign materials with impact
