Through guided reflection and conversation using three different facilitation exercises, participants will reflect on areas of growth and challenge in their organization, area of ministry, or a particular program over the past year. We’ll consider where you might need to grow, renew, or let go in this work in the year ahead. You’ll leave with the fruits of your own reflection — and learning from other ministerial and non-profit leaders– to bring back to your organization. You’ll also have experienced three reflection/planning tools you can use with your own team or community. Each participant is also offered an individual coaching session after the event.

Who should attend:
Leaders in Catholic ministries and non-profits

Outcomes:

  • Reflect on areas of growth and challenge in your organization, ministry or a particular program over the past year.

  • Generate ideas of where to grow, renew, or let go in organization, ministry or a particular program in the year ahead.

  • Experience three, participatory methods for helping teams review the past and plan for the future.

  • Connect and learn with peer leaders.

  • Participate in a 45–60 minute virtual, leadership coaching session with Genevieve Jordan Laskey to explore insights or next steps from the workshop. Participants will be sent a link to register for a coaching session in the event registration confirmation email. Coaching sessions will be offered in the two weeks following the in-person session.

Preparation:
Come with a specific area of your ministry or organization you’d like to reflect with through the day. This could be a specific program or project or perhaps your annual plan or organizational priorities.

Cost:
$250 registration fee includes a light lunch and refreshments on December 8. All registrations are non-refundable. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances that make it unsafe or impractical to gather in person, the event will be moved to a virtual format. Registrants will receive all necessary login information in advance of the virtual session.

Special Offer: Bring a Friend
Learning and collaboration are even better when shared! Register with a colleague or friend and receive $75 off your combined registration. Select ticket type "Bring a Friend" when registering.

About the Location:
The event will be held at the Meadowbrook Local Park Activity Building in Chevy Chase, Maryland—just outside Washington, D.C. This beautiful, rustic space sits along the edge of Rock Creek Park.
