Scrap & Yap

Calling all scrapbookers, sentimental hoarders and collage queens.

Join us for our monthly Scrap & Yap eve!!! A chill scrapbooking meet-up for anyone who wants some fun chaotic creative time, while meeting other Glasgow gals! 

Whether you are already a scrapbook pro, you’ve been saving receipts and little bits of paper for months, or you have absolutely no idea where to start, this is for you. There is no pressure to make anything perfect at all. You can make a memory page, a moodboard, a junk journal spread, a vision book, or simply play around with colours, words and textures.

We will have plenty of materials for you to use, including magazines, paper, stickers, glue, scissors, washi tape, ribbons and lots of other random bits and pieces. You are also very welcome to bring your own photos, postcards, tickets, receipts, notes, packaging, cards or anything else personal you’d like to include.

If you want to scrapbook with personal photos, please bring printed copies of the photos with you. If you’re happy to do general scrapbooking, we’ll have you covered.

What’s included:

Scrapbooking materials -
Magazines, paper, stickers, ribbons, fabric, pens, lettering, and lots of collage bits
Glue, scissors and tape
A relaxed space to create
A chance to meet new Glasgow Girls Collective pals

Juice, light snacks and good tunes provided.

You can bring your own scrapbook or journal, or you can buy one when booking your ticket. We’ll also have a small number available to buy at the event.

Scrapbook prices:

Mini scrapbook  — £5 (6inch x 6inch)
Medium scrapbook — £8 (8inch x 8inch)
Large scrapbook — £11 (12inch x 12inch)

Bring yourself, your scraps, (your photos if you want them), and anything sentimental you’ve been meaning to do something with - and we will cover the rest!

No experience needed. No neat handwriting required. No aesthetic pressure. Just scrap, yap and make something that feels like you.
