Craft & Yap: Mini Makes Night

A cute wee Thursday September social! ✂️💛 We are hosting two chilled Craft & Yap: Mini Makes Nights this month, with two slightly different vibes so you can choose whichever feels best for you.

There is no set project and absolutely no artistic skills needed, just turn up, pick whatever you fancy making, grab your materials and settle in for a yap!

You’ll be able to choose from:

💌 Beaded friendship bracelets
🧵 Waxed-string friendship bracelets
📿 Beaded bag charms
🔖 Decorate-your-own bookmarks
✂️ Mini collage cards & postcards
🌈 Colouring corner, including colouring books, pages and our giant colouring table

Fancy making a bracelet first and then moving onto something else? Go for it. You are free to try different crafts throughout the evening rather than everyone having to make the same thing. We will provide all of the materials and have examples and instructions there to help you get started.

Come with a pal or come on your own, solo gals are so welcome. Having something to make takes away so much of the awkwardness of meeting new people, so you can sit down, get crafting and let the conversation happen naturally.

Thursday 10th September - Bar Home

Our slightly bigger, livelier Craft & Yap night! We’ll have our own space at Bar Home where you can grab a drink, choose your crafts and settle in for a couple of hours of making and yapping.

Drinks aren’t included in your ticket, but you’ll be able to purchase whatever you fancy from the bar throughout the evening, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

Thursday 24th September - Candleriggs

If you prefer a smaller, quieter social, this one is for you 💛

This Craft & Yap will have fewer spaces available, creating a more relaxed setting with a little more room to settle in, craft and get to know the gals around you.

It’s a lovely option if you’re nervous about attending alone, prefer smaller groups, or simply fancy a calmer evening.

Connecting before the event

We know one of the most daunting parts of coming to an event solo can be the thought of walking in without knowing anyone, so we have created an event group chat for each date 💛 Once you have booked your ticket, you will get the option to join. It’s a lovely way to say hello, chat with some of the other ladies beforehand, make plans to arrive together if you would feel more comfortable, and keep up with any little event updates.
