GATHERING: In-conversation: Lisette May Monroe and Maggie Matić

Wed 17 Jun 2026 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Glasgow Women's Library, G40 1BP

A conversation between artist and writer Lisette May Monroe and Maggie Matić, on the occasion of Lisette May Monroe's first solo exhibition, Hard Lines, presented at Glasgow International. Hard Lines is an autobiographical installation that uses sentimentality, nostalgia and revenge to navigate the aftermath of an abandoned relationship, while questioning what it means to inhabit a body stigmatised by the overhanging spectres of class, disability and menopause.
