Join us for a day of tradition, strength, and community spirit at the Glenurquhart Highland Games, held in the heart of the Highlands in Drumnadrochit on the banks of Loch Ness.  A highlight of the summer calendar, the Games celebrate Scottish heritage with thrilling heavy events, Highland dancing, piping competitions, local races, and family-friendly entertainment.

This year, we are proud to host the first-ever Women's Heavy World Championship – a historic moment that will see top female athletes from around the globe compete in iconic events like the caber toss, weight for height, and shot putt.

Enjoy a full day of action, from the pipe band parade to traditional field events, browse stalls featuring local crafts and food, and soak up the unbeatable Highland atmosphere.  Whether you're a visitor, local, or returning supporter, it’s a day packed with culture, fun, and Highland hospitality.
